That is not a disadvantage. It is a positioning.<\/p>\n<p>Are there specific rules for applicants aged <a href=\"https:\/\/2026.karrierecoaching.ch\/en\/glossary-50plus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">50plus<\/a>? Not fundamentally \u2013 but they need to apply the well-known principles with particular consistency. What matters is applying in the right market: where experience, maturity and perspective are valued \u2013 not youthful energy. Many end up competing with younger candidates because they apply for roles for which younger applicants are simply better suited. Clear positioning helps to avoid exactly that.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone job hunting at 50plus needs a clear picture of their <a href=\"https:\/\/2026.karrierecoaching.ch\/en\/glossary-strengths\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">strengths<\/a>, competencies and achievements. Routine often means that we do many things unconsciously \u2013 and find it difficult to articulate our own capabilities. A structured <a href=\"https:\/\/2026.karrierecoaching.ch\/en\/glossary-personal-and-professional-assessment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">personal and professional assessment<\/a> can help to sharpen this picture.
